Gully Labs was born out of a simple but bold idea: to build a household sneaker brand from Delhi that is truly and unapologetically Indian. A brand shaped by local streets, crafts, and culture, not borrowed from the West.
The early days were fast, raw, and full of momentum. We landed our first Vogue feature, hosted our debut event, and had a reel go viral. These moments helped us build our voice and connect with a growing community.
We set up our first workshop in a 1000 sq. ft. space in Noida Sector-10, with six karigars and a tight-knit team. This is where our earliest sneakers were sampled, stitched, and shipped, all under one roof.
We now operate from a 10,000 sq. ft. space in Noida Sector-4. With over 50 karigars and a young team across design, operations, and content. Everything we do is driven by a shared vision to reimagine Indian footwear from the ground up.
Within a year, our founders were featured in GQ’s Most Influential Young Indians. A proud milestone that reminded us how far we’ve come and how much further we’re headed.

FOUNDERS NOTE
Our origin story
When Arjun returned from Australia, he saw a gap: A culture obsessed with Western kicks but blind to its own soul. So he penned down a manifesto and set out to put India’s authentic culture on the global map.
Animesh was the first to see the fire. And also to give it form. Arjun’s junior from college and one of the first members in the Gully Labs Whatsapp group, he quit his job at Bain and joined us as a co-founder.
With Arjun’s vision and Animesh’s execution, Gully Labs is building more than sneakers. We’re building cultural currency. Made by hand, powered by belief, and unapologetically Indian.
